Ralph C. Lewis Jr., 82

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Ralph Clayton Lewis Jr., 82, of North Adams, Mass., died on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass. 

He was born in North Adams, Mass., on April 13, 1935, a son to the late, Ralph C. Lewis Sr. and Lucille Rose (Martin) Lewis Jarvis. Ralph attended schools in North Adams, Mass. 

He was employed as a foreman at Sprague Electric and later at Quadland’s Flowers. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in North Adams. He loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Belle (Harvey) Blondin Lewis; three daughters, Lorianne Lewis of North Adams, Deborah (Blondin) LeFave of Clarksburg, and Karen Blondin and her husband, Liam O’Connor, of Sarasota, Fla.; one grandchild, Samantha Tanner; two great-grandchildren, Tanner Macksey and Dillon Macksey; and a sister-in-law, Barbara “Honey” Lewis. 

He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence R. Lewis, who died on August 30, 2017.

Funeral notice: A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Ralph Clayton Lewis will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the Flynn and Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, Mass.

A calling hour will take place beginning at 10 a.m.. Burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery, North Adams, Mass. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
