Judith Rice, 73

WINDSOR, Mass. —

Mrs. Judith M. (Silvernail) Rice, 73, of Windsor, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Craneville Place in Dalton.

She was born in Pittsfield on February 19, 1947, a daughter of the late George and Julia (Herzog) Kelsey. She attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Pittsfield High School. She then graduated from the Medical Transcriptionist program at Midred Elley in Pittsfield.

Mrs. Rice last worked for the Hilltown Community Health Center in Worthington until she retired in 2015.

Her husband, Timothy H. Rice, whom she married on June 20, 1986, died on July 18, 2017.

She is survived by a son, Eric Giansiracusa and his wife, Melodie, of Pittsfield; two daughters, Kimberly Mintz and her husband, Ari, of Millbury, MA and Bobbi Jo Olver and her husband, Rob, of Adams; seven grandchildren, including Nathan Danford, Brandy, Wyatt, and Sofia Giansiracusa, Rowan Conway, Leona Olver, Timothy Olver and; a great grandson, Caiden Parker; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Joann Dellert and by two brothers, Jack and Chuck Silvernail.

Due to current restrictions, a graveside service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the spring.
