Ann Sinico, 93

HOUSATONIC, Mass.— Ann B. Sinico, 93, died on Saturday Jan. 30,2021 at Fairview Commons Nursing Facility.
Prior to becoming a resident there she lived with her son Timothy D Hassett and his family at 308 Park Street in Housatonic.
Ann, the youngest of five children, was born in West Stockbridge on March, 16 1927, the daughter of the late Antonio and Palma (Dellea) Sinico, Ann was educated in local schools in West Stockbridge.
Ann frequently and fondly spoke of her youth growing up in West Stockbridge. Primarily a homemaker, she then was employed at several local mills. She retired after 17 years of service at the Timberlyn Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ann had a jovial and outgoing personality. She enjoyed people and spending time with friends and family, particularly her grandchildren. She was a faithful communicant of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish at Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic.
Ann is survived by her son Timothy and his wife Marian Hassett of Housatonic, daughter Terri Truczinskas of Goshen, Conn, five grandchildren; Ryan and Tim Hassett, Captain Sean Truczinskas, Colin and Kailey Truczinskas of Conn. as well as several nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her husband Thomas E. Hassett in 1971, also her son in law Captain Michael W. Truczinskas in 2008, her brothers Anthony, Joseph, Louis and her sister Rose A. Carlotto.
