Helen Wisniowski, 93

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Miss Helen Wisniowski, 93, of Adams, died on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in Adams on March 6, 1928, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Robakowska) Wisniowski. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School.

Miss Wisniowski worked for the former Sprague Electric Company in North Adams for 40 years until retiring.

She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics and Notre Dame Football. She also loved taking trips to the casinos.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, including, Ann Robinson and her husband George of Adams, Richard Wisniowski and his wife Barbara of Adams, Peter Wisniowski and his wife Lucille of Vernon, CT, Carol Morin of North Adams, Thomas Douglas and his wife Sally of Cheshire, Mary Desmaris and her husband Gerald on North Adams and by many grandnieces, grandnephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers Casimer and Walter Wisniowski; two sisters, Edna Douglas and Stacia Szetela; her nephew Paul Szetela and by her brother-in-law Felix Szetela.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 9th, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams.

Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.

There are no calling hours.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

Last year when I was up in Adams, I stopped in to visit with Aunt Helen, we had a nice time. I was one of Paul's high school friends and grew up with the family. She will always be in my heart.
