Marshall L. Adelt, 70

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Marshall L. Adelt, 70, of Adams, died on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

He was born in Adams on August 12, 1950, a son of the late William and Ruth (Kenney) Adelt. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams Memorial High School.

Mr. Adelt worked for as a plumber and HVAC technician for Charles Cardillo Plumbing Heating HVAC for many years until retiring.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Adams. He was a member of Custom City Cycle in Adams where he had served on the Fall Run Committee. He had also been a member of many other motorcycle clubs in the area.

He is survived by his wife, the former Cheryl A. Innes, whom he married on August 15, 1992; his son Cory Adelt and his wife Sarah of Adams; two daughters, Doreen Meczywor of Cheshire and Tisha Holt and her husband Shawn of Greeneville, TN; his brother Daniel Adelt of Adams; his sister Susan Gentes and her husband Albert of Essex Junction, VT; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Betsy Jordan and by his brother Michael Adelt.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 10th at 11:00 A.M. in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Due to current restrictions, all attending the calling hours and graveside service must wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Admittance to the funeral home may take longer than usual.

Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.

Very sorry to hear about Marshall. He helped us out with many plumbing problems and even when I had something really messed up he helped and didn't make me feel foolish! Out thoughts and Prayers go out to his family and friends. A great man!

Our hearts go out to the family, we're so sorry for your loss. Marshall was such a good guy, Sue and I thought so much of him, he will be missed. May he rest in peace and his journey be all it should be.

Sorry to see where Marshal has past. We connected as relatives at the Clark Art Project we were both working on. He was a great guy and I’m happy I got to know him.
Please keep all those good memories of Marshal as you move forward during these difficult times.

Marshall was a great guy, I worked with him 35 years ago at RI Baker co. And as a 17 year old kid, Marshall kept me out of trouble. I will always be grateful for that. My condolences to the Adelt Family.
