Lawrence A. Miller Sr., 81

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Lawrence Albert Miller Sr., 81 of North Adams, MA died on Wednesday May 12, 2021 at his home.

He was born in North Adams, MA on November 21, 1939, a son of the late Ralph Miller Sr. and Bessie (O'Dell) Miller. He attended local schools.

Lawrence operated the former F & L Taxi Co. in North Adams and also worked with David Dupee Flooring. He enjoyed car racing and faithfully attended events at Lebanon Valley Speeedway.

Survivors include one daughter- Tammy Marie (Kelly) Cannon of North Adams and three sons- Lawrence Albert (Sue) Miller Jr; James Michael (Donna) Miller and John Edward Miller, all of North Adams. He also leaves several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his former wives- Florence (Anschutz) Grover of North Adams and Brenda (Boyer) Miller of Bennington, VT.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Lawrence A. Miller Sr. will be held Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Larry was a great guy, a good friend of my dad ( Doug Maynard Sr) I loved going to visit Larry & Brenda as a child and teenager. He and Brenda would come to NY and go out dancing with my parents (Doug & Donna) I’ve always considered Larry family. Rip you will be missed.

Larry was a close friend of my Dads (Doug Sr). He had a good forgiving heart. He was outgoing, Caring and outspoken. He had his stubborn side but was known for his caring nature. He will be missed. My prayers to the family as you grieve and mourn his Passing. May God comfort you in your time of need. God Bless.
