Nicholas V. Augello, Jr., 56

ADAMS, Mass. —  

On June 28, 2021, our Lord called Nicholas Victor Augello, Jr. home. Nicholas was born and raised in New Jersey before relocating to Adams to be closer to family in 1997. Nick was in the trucking business most of his life, and founded East Adams Trucking in 2010. He is also a longtime member of the Adams Lodge of Elks. After a long, courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Nicholas succumbed to this terrible disease. Our Lord Jesus Christ said “to be absent from the body is to be present with our Lord”.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Augello of Adams; his sisters Patricia Chamberlain of Adams; Marlene Champagne and her husband, Mark, of Adams; his brothers, Michael Augello of Palm Springs, CA; Thomas Augello of Adams; Steven Augello of Adams; Christopher Augello of Adams; Scott Augello of Las Vegas, NV; and David Augello and his wife Erica of Tampa, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Nicholas Augello, and by his brother, Bruce Augello. Nicholas and his family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation for the staff at Berkshire Oncology and Berkshire Medical Center for their compassion and unwavering commitment of exceptional care throughout his journey. The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 3rd, at 10:30 AM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Condolences to family for your loss, having worked for nick for 2years , I know he was one of a kind. He treated me with respect and had a lot of laughs and some tears. I will still laugh when I think of some of the stories he would tell me, knowing he is laughing as well from above.

I am sorry to learn of the passing of Nick,I met Nick a few yrs ago when he had a delivery from Papa Gino's,Nick was always pleasant to talk to whether he had a delivery or picking up a pizza,He was very outgoing and I am glad to have met him.RIP Nick,you will be missed but certainly not forgotten.
