Irene V. Cwalinski, 90

ADAMS, Mass. —Irene V. Cwalinski 90, longtime resident of Adams, MA, passed away on July 22, 2021 at home. Irene was born on February 4, 1931 in Worcester, MA the daughter of Joseph and Helen Ciborowski. She attended schools in Worcester, MA. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams, was active in the Parent Teacher Group of St. Stanislaus Kostka School and Catholic Charities and was a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Rosary Sodality and the Polish Women’s Alliance. Irene enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and crafts and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her beloved husband Alexander, who she married on July 4, 1950 in Worcester, MA passed away on November 30, 2000. She leaves two sons, Alexander J. Cwalinski and his wife Emelda of Boston, MA, Michael J. Cwalinski and wife Diane of Londonderry, NH, and 3 daughters, Stephanie Mulcahy of San Diego, CA, Laurene Cwalinski of Adams, and Anne E. Kupiec and her husband Neil of Adams, MA. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Steven Trzcinski and wife Natalie of San Diego CA, Michael J. Cwalinski Jr. and wife Shil of Warminster, PA, Lee Anne Kingsley and husband Mark of Los Angeles, CA, Daniel Cwalinski and wife Sarah of Nashua, NH, Kristin Cwalinski of Brooklyn, NY, Allison Popowich and husband Nick of Williamsburg, MA, Mark Cwalinski of Austin, TX and Timothy Kupiec of Adams, MA as well as five great granddaughters, Shay and Cori Trzcinski, Claire Cwalinski , Livia and Lexi Cwalinski and two great grandsons, Reece Trzcinski and Camden Cwalinski. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, and most recently her grandson, Chester Trzcinski. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 29th, at 9:30 AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 AM at the funeral home. For those who have not been vaccinated for the COVID 19 Virus, face coverings will be required at all services. Laureme,Anne and Alexander, it was a blessing to know your mom. God bless, comfort, and be with all of you at this difficult time. Your mom will be keeping an eye on you from Heaven. Treasure the memories you made as a family. Those will help keep you strong and get you through the days and years to come I am glad that she shared in the effort to save and reopen St. Stan's.
