Linda Berrill, 63

Linda Louise ( Maynard) Berrill "Canoe" passed away July 22, 2021 peacefully at her home at 1011 Sandmill Rd Cheshire where she resided with her companion and care givers John Annicharico and oldest identical twin son Colby Berrill, after a very long battle with COPD. Born March 17, 1958 she was raised in Clarksburg and attended school there. She was the baby of 9. Being the baby of such a large loving family life was crazy and she enjoyed every minute of it. She loved and owned numerous motorcycles and hot rods including working on them she could keep right up with the men, which earned her great respect. She was a friend to many which is where she earned her nick name Canoe. She lived a full life and had many stories to go along with it. She even ran Berkshire Boiler works after her then fiancé past away. Although she didn’t know much about it, she was determined to fulfill Garry's wish. So along with his son’s Chris & Carl Newsome they made it work for a few years. She took a lot of pride in her children whom will miss her dearly. Marla (sugar bear) & best son-in law Joey White , Evelyn-Rose (monkey girl), identical twins Colby (Colby man), Clinton (peach tree), & Dayvene (froggy) Berrill along with John’s son’s Joey & Adam Annichicharico whom she also leaves behind. Her grandkids Bionca Barrett, Cody, Nathan, Noah, JJ, & Mikey White were her pride and joy. She enjoyed having fires, delivering puppies, and cooking rat tail soup and teletubbie toast but most of all having goofy fun with them especially on Halloween. Her favorite people to talk about and play with were her great grandbabies, Paisley (baby Doo-dah), Waylon (whalie) Montgomery and Bodie Annicharico.

She is predeceased by her husband David Berrill, children Audrey Rarick and Clinton Berrill. Siblings Robert, Richard & Paul (Rose) Maynard. She leaves behind Jean (Wes) Pecor, Sandra Singer, Barbara (Earl) Peltier , Carol (Kip) Syrett, Donald Maynard, & Thomas (Loretta) Maynard. And her niece Cindy (Ron) Schneider and many nieces and nephews and greats even a couple great- great niece and nephew which she had a close bond with all. Being the motorcycle enthusiast she was the family would like to ask if you are coming to services and have a motorcycle or classic car please ride it.

A celebration of Linda "Canoe" Berrill will take place Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 1PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. A funeral cortege of motorcycles and classic cars will travel to the family plot in Southview Cemetery for burial. Calling hours are Monday August 2, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to hear that Canoe has passed. She was such a sweetheart and you always felt that she really cared when she hugged you and talked to you. She will be sadly missed. I pray that she is at peace and rest now with her heavenly father. Blessings for peace and comfort to her family

Marla, if I could help one heart that's hurting, if I coulud turn it loss to gain, if I could show ur mothers goodness, I could help u through ur pain. If I could sit with u in silence, if I could be there when u cry, if I could show u how much she loved you, I could help u say good-bye.
With this loss comes so many layers of heartache. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. Say not in grief that she has gone, but always remain thankful that she was yours.
~~ Hugs to all ~~
