Daniel E. Adelt, 68

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Daniel Evan Adelt, 68, of Adams, died on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Adams on October 11, 1952, a son of the late William and Ruth (Kenney) Adelt.

He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the Charles H. McCann Technical High School.

Mr. Adelt worked as a welder and metal fabricator for General Electric, Pfizer and Lipton Steel.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church, Adams and had been a member of the Charles H. McCann Advisory Board. He enjoyed playing football while in high school and later, playing billiards.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Trumble of Cheshire and Nikki Trumble of Lanesboro, his son, William Adelt of Cheshire; his sister Susan Gentes of Essex Junction, VT; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Robin Adelt and by his two brothers, Michael and Marshall Adelt.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the Brien Center, PO Box 4219, Pittsfield, MA 01202.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
