Dorothy Biros, 88

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mrs. Dorothy (Davison) Biros, 88, of Adams, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

She was born in North Adams on September 17, 1932, daughter of the late Alfred and Yvonne (Cote) Davison. She attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1950. Mrs. Biros worked for many years at the former Sprague Electric Co., North Adams, until retiring in 1995.She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. She was a member of the Adams Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles.

Her husband of 55 years, Theodore J. Biros, whom she married on September 19, 1953, died on January 6, 2009. She is survived by two sons, Gary Biros and his wife Jeanne and David Biros, all of Adams; her daughter, Linda Selanis and her husband Gary of Northfield; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert Biros who died on December 31, 1990 and by her granddaughter Kristina Biros who died on June 20, 2017.

The funeral for family will be held on Monday, September 13th at 11:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
