Steven Martinez, 61

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Steven Martinez, 61, of Adams, died on Friday, September 10, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Dallas, TX on March 2, 1960, a son of Lucy (Chavez) Villanpando and the late Sebastian Martinez. He attended schools in Texas.

At the time of his death, Mr. Martinez was working for the Laborers Union Local 473 in Pittsfield.

Besides his mother of Texas, he is survived by his wife, the former Donna J. Perras, whom he married on April 21, 1990; his daughter, Angela Shipp of Adams; two brothers, Sebastian Martinez, Jr. of TX and Jeff Martinez of North Adams; a sister Patricia Dickinson of TX and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 21st at 2:00 P.M. in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There are no calling hours.
