Wilfred "Bill" Gelinas Jr., 73
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Wilfred Arthur “Bill” Gelinas Jr., 73 of Clarksburg, MA died on Sunday June 4, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 29, 1949 in North Adams, MA a son of the late Wilfred Arthur Gelinas Sr. and Theresa (Desnoyers) Gelinas.
Bill attended schools in North Adams, MA, and graduated from Wahconah High School in Dalton, MA. He worked for General Electric in Pittsfield for 18 years, later becoming the owner the operator of Gelinas Construction until his health began to fail.
He loved the beach, holidays, and most of all, plowing snow. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and attending family gatherings.
Survivors include his wife Mary Eileen (Roy) Gelinas whom he married on March 2, 1973, and four children, Jennifer Boland (Michael) of North Adams, and Theresa Denette (Eric), Joanne Patenaude (Robert), and Christopher Gelinas (Traci), all of Clarksburg, MA. He also leaves eleven grandchildren, Sully, Jon, and Grace Boland, Molly, Brady, and Ryan Patenaude, Zachary and Colby Gelinas, Jordyn and Nathan Biagini, and Hunter Denette, as well as two sisters, Martha Pugliese, and Barbara Fowler; sister-in-law, Sister Connie Roy, S. S. J., and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two nephews, Shaun Fowler, and Andrew Fowler.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Bill Gelinas will be celebrated on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA are Friday from 4-6 PM.
