Arthur J. Morin, Jr., 87

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Arthur J. Morin, Jr., 87, of Adams, died on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Williamstown Commons.

He was born in Adams on August 27, 1937, a son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Oparowski) Morin. He attended schools in Adams.

Mr. Morin was a veteran having served with the United States Marine Corps until receiving his honorable discharge as Private First Class on September 25, 1959.

Mr. Morin worked as a machine operator for the former MacDermid in Adams for many years until retiring.

He was a member of the Parish of St. John Paul II, Adams and had been a longtime communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Adams. He enjoyed summers at his camp at Hidden Valley Campground in Lanesboro and spending time with his brother at Lake Bomoseen in Vermont. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

He is survived by his wife, the former Norma Lefebvre; his son, Arthur Morin III of Bennington; three daughters, Anne Marie O’Neil (Russell Foskett) Kimberly Morin (Kimberly McCoubrey) of Worthington and Amanda Morin of Adams; six grandchildren, Brad O’Neil (Emily Scott), Sara Ziarnik (Leonard), Tyler O’Neil (Gabrielle Trudeau), Layla Rougeau, Colby Rougeau and Austin Morin; two great grandchildren, Madelyn and Hudson Ziarnik; his brother Robert Morin (Cynthia); his sister, Cindy Dubis (Stanley) and by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law Howard O’Neil.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at 11:00 A.M. in Bellevue Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Memorial donations may be made to the Williamstown Commons Rehab Dept., 25 Adams Rd., Williamstown, MA 01267.
