Kent Clark Sr, 81

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

Kent Paul "Skip” Clark, Sr., 81, of North Adams, died on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Albany Medical Center. Born in North Adams on September 18, 1944, he was the son of June (Wright) and Charles E. Clark, Sr.

Kent attended schools in North Adams, becoming a skilled carpenter and hardworking employee. Kent was employed with Wall-Streeter Shoe Company, City of North Adams Highway Department, Arnold Print Work and most recently as a carpenter with Williams College Buildings and Grounds Department. He was proud of helping to build Bear Swamp. Not one to sit idle, Kent was also the co-owner and operator of Clark Carpentry Company with this brother, Roy. He also provided catering for the Eagle’s Lodge. Kent was an accomplished woodworker, he established TKN Clark Woodworking, a furniture making business that created tables, chairs, shelves, bowls, and boxes.

A member of the Eagles, Kent was on the Men’s Softball League. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with family and friends.

Kent leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Judith Ann (Felix) Clark, whom he married on November 6, 1965. He is also survived by his sons, Kent P. Clark, Jr. of North Adams, MA and Nicholas Clark of Florida; grandchildren, Matthew Stimpson, David Stimpson, Jr. and Serenity Stimpson; and great grandchildren, Kinsley, Zandyr and Lucian. He is predeceased by his daughter, Tammy Ann Stimpson; sisters, Thelka Robinson and Carrie Todd; and brothers, Roy Clark, Daniel Clark, Roger Clark and Charlie Clark.

Funeral Services for Kent Clark will be held on Thursday March 26, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli WEST CHAPELS 521 West Main Street, North Adams. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Dear Aunt Judy, Nick, and Kent
I'm so sorry Uncle passed.
I know this is a PROFOUND LOSS for all of us as he was the last link in our older generation.
An era has passed but the memories of Uncle will Shine forever in All of us the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Clark generations. We shall carry you in our hearts. We will treasure all the woodworking crafts we were so lucky to get from you.

Skip was a member of our pitch league on Wednesdays. My memory of Skip bring steak knives for prime rib just in case always bring a smile on my face. He was a quiet and soft spoken man but a great card player and friend to all. We will miss you Skip RIP. ?
