Not only a business entrepreneur, Kurt had a career in banking, as a Mortgage Loan Officer at the Greylock Federal Credit Union in Adams when it opened in the 1990's, as well as at Credit Union of the Berkshires, and Guardian Life in Pittsfield.

Kurt was predeceased by his father David W. Scholz. Kurt is survived by his children, Olivia Rose and Christopher Ryan, his mother June B. Very sorry to hear of Kurts passing. It was a joy and a privilege to know him. I enjoyed all the times our paths have crossed and were able to talk about lawn care. We would have talked for hours but. both of us always said , " I got to go because I have Ten more lawns to do today." God will have a good caretaker in Heaven.

Kurt was everything mentioned in his obituary and more. A man of integrity even back in high school when we were classmates. It’s ridiculously wrong he’s gone so young. Sending love to you all.
