Cassandra Williams, 59

Cassandra Williams, of Florida Mountain, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at North Adams Regional Hospital, with her loving partner and her son by her side.

Born to the late Frances (Phillips) Williams and Nathaniel Burt Williams, Cassandra spent many years dedicated to helping others through her career in the medical field.

Cassandra was an avid reader who amassed a beautiful, extensive book collection. She found great peace and expression in painting, using her talent to bring her creative vision to life. Above all else, Cassandra adored her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent watching them grow.

She leaves behind her devoted partner, Mark Sherman, and her former husband, Terry Joy. She is also is survived by her loving children: Joshua Goodell and his fiancée, Maria LaFleur; Jazmyne Joy; and Jesette Joy and her partner, Carlos Feliciano. She was the cherished grandmother of Alexander Rodriguez-Joy, Jeffery Moon, Julian Feliciano, Sophia Feliciano, and Scarlett Feliciano.

She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Shiree Williams and Sara Williams, as well as her aunts, Diane (Phillips) Amos and Sandra (Phillips) Brimage, along with many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frances and Nathaniel.

In accordance with Cassandra’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family will honor her life with a private gathering. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

Words cannot express how sad I am for you all. I've known Cassie since we had children in preschool together. Later on we ended up being grandma's to Alex and Jeffrey. I always enjoyed seeing her and am sorry for all her loved ones she leaves behind. On behave of myself and my family, rest in peace, you'll be missed.

To Cassie's entire family, I am so sad to hear of her passing. What a remarkable women she has always been. I have known her my whole life and we would always catch up a bit when we saw each other.
