David A. Boucher, 67

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  David Allen Boucher, 67, of North Adams, MA died tragically on Monday, May 11, 2026 at his home.

Born in North Adams, MA on October 1, 1958, he was a son of the late Shirley Ann (Chalifoux) and Bernard Gilbert Boucher. David graduated from Drury High School and served in the Massachusetts National Guard.

Dave was a machine operator with Crane Paper Company for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and participating in the many cultural events of North Adams.

He married the love of his life, Linda Laura (Murach) Boucher, on December 16, 1977, and together they raised a family. He was a devoted husband and father.

David was predeceased by his wife, Linda; his daughter, Sheila (Boucher) Thoresen; and his brother, Mark Boucher. He will be missed by his son-in-law, Michael H. Thoresen, of Monroe; grandson, Ethan A. Thoresen; step-grandson, Connor Nielsen; his in laws and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for David Allen Boucher will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes, WEST CHAPELS 521 West Main St, North Adams, MA. Burial will follow at the Southview Cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning June 11th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. There aren’t any words for such a loss like this . My daughter and I worked with Dave and Linda for a long time I had many conversations and laughs with both of them also just seeing Dave where I work now just a week before . I prey he has peace with Linda and his daughter .

I will never understand what happened.Dave I will miss all the the time's hunting and fishing, going on vacation, just hanging out at barbecues. We have been friends since we both got married. I can't believe it's been 50 years. I will never forget you brother and I hope you have a seat next to Linda and Sheila. Words can't express how I feel right now. I also worked with Linda and David for several years at Crane and I enjoyed the friendship that I had with both of them. I was so sorry to read this tragic news and I feel very sorry that this tragic death happened to a very good friend of mine. May you rest in peace Dave.

I don’t know what to say, I worked with Dave for years at Crane & Co. and he was such a great guy. This is so tragic that this happened, Dave still had a lot of great years ahead of him. Our heart and prayers go out to his family. May Dave Rest In Peace.
