NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

Debra Marie (Ellsworth) Benoit, 69, of North Adams died on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at North Adams Commons. She was born on December 15, 1956 in North Adams, MA a daughter of the late Rolland Richard Ellsworth & Claire Marie (Belanger) Ellsworth.

Debra was primarily a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed crafts, sewing/crocheting, and playing bingo.

Debra was the widow of George William Benoit who died on August 17, 2001. She leaves her 3 daughters, Melissa Houghtaling of Rowe, MA, April Marie Schroeder of Virginia Beach, VA and Kelly Benoit of North Adams, MA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Joyce Ellsworth and Barbara Ellsworth.
