Jayquan A. Williams, 18

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —

Jayquan Alan “Jay” Williams, 18, of North Adams, died unexpectedly on September 2, 2026.

He was born in North Adams on June 28, 2008, a son of Tina (Peters) Williams and Timothy Williams. He attended schools in both North Adams and Adams and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in June.

At this time of his passing, Jay was working for A-1 Construction in Clarksburg.

He enjoyed scootering and riding BMX bikes and motorcycles, and also liked doing mechanical work and playing video games.

Jay is survived by his mother, Tina Williams, and his “Step Brad”, Bradley Grant, of North Adams; his father, Timothy Williams of Sunderland, MA; his brother Quintin Williams (Trinity) of North Adams; his sisters Janayah Williams (Devon), and Alexis Williams, both of North Adams; his two nieces Delaney Jay Williams and Anita Rose Jennings, both of North Adams; his maternal grandmother, Susan King of North Adams; his maternal grandfather, Michael Peters of Shelburne Falls; step grandma Brenda Grant of Cheshire; cousin Kaylub Peters of North Adams; his girlfriend, Idahlia Frazier of Adams; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours for Jay will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9th from 4 to 7 PM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams. Relatives and friends are invited.
