Angela (Gagnon) Brothers, 47

ADAMS, Mass. —  Angela Marie (Gagnon) Brothers, 47 of Adams, MA. died Tuesday October 6, 2026.

She was born in North Adams on October 2, 1979 a daughter of Raymond and Barbara (Sloan) Gagnon.

Angela attended St. Stanislaus grammar school in Adams and graduated from St. Joseph High School in Pittsfield, MA. She continued her education and graduated from Southern Vermont College with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Angela spent many years as a stay-at-home mom, the job she cherished most in the world. She was employed for Berkshire County Head Start in Pittsfield as a student and family support specialist. Angela’s focus in life was the well- being of her beloved children. She possessed a genuine welcoming personality, kind heart, and bright smile.

Angela will be remembered for her contagious laughter, a smile that could light up a room, her unwavering kindness, and a beautiful, infectious personality that touched the lives of everyone who was blessed to meet her. An animal lover, she was a devoted dog mom to her beloved Bodhi, whom she cherished. Her greatest joys were spending time with her three daughters, cooking in the kitchen (with the utmost love), spending time in Nature, and of course, popcorn!

Survivors include her parents Raymond and Barbara Gagnon, her three daughters who she always called her “earth angels”, Madilynn Brothers, Marley Brothers and Sloan Brothers; sisters Kristen Calhoun (James), Lisa Pereira (Michael), Renee Eastman and brother Christopher Gagnon. Angela also leaves behind former husband Michael Brothers and his daughters, Stephanie Brothers of North Adams and Amber Brothers of Adams; and niece and nephews Emily, Kent and Jordan.
