Debora Ann LeFave, 73

CLARKSBURG, MASS. --Debora Ann (Blondin) LeFave, 73, of Clarksburg, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

Debbie was born in North Adams on March 10, 1953, the daughter of the late Virginia B. (Harvey) Lewis and Albert S. Blondin. She attended local schools and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School.

Debbie owned and operated a home daycare in Clarksburg for many years, where she touched the lives of countless children and families. She was also dedicated to her community, serving as Chairman of the Clarksburg Board of Selectmen for many years and, at the time of her passing, as a member of the town’s Planning Board.

Above all, Debbie treasured her family. Affectionately known as “Gra” to her grandsons, Tanner and Dylan, she was an integral part of their lives, always cheering them on, attending their sporting events, and sharing in the many moments that made their lives special. Her grandsons brought her immeasurable joy, and she will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Debbie was predeceased by her longtime partner, Howard Albert Tanner, who passed away in 2011. She leaves behind her daughter, Samantha Tanner, and her partner, Joseph Macksey, of North Adams; her two beloved grandsons, Tanner and Dylan; and her sister, Karen Blondin, and her husband, Liam O’Connor, of Sarasota, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Debbie’s memory to the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Department or the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Debbie LeFave will be private. Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes – CENTRAL Chapel, 74 Marshall Street, North Adams, MA, has been entrusted with arrangements. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

I am beyond heartbroken over the loss of such a dear friend, she lovingly cared for my boys in their early years and we reconnected later in life where she became very dear to my whole family, so much so she celebrated Christmas eve with us and one year she became certified to marry my son and his husband. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and she lived to be involved in all her grandkids milestones. Samantha, Joe, Tanner and Dylan please accept my deepest condolences, she was dearly loved, Love, Karin

Oh Samantha, I'm so sorry to hear this. Debbie was a good friend and we shared many good times together. She was an exceptional woman...funny, warm, unapologetic in her beliefs, did not suffer fools, and was so incredibly smart. We served on several Boards and Committees in town and her institutional memory was amazing as was her ability to decipher financial reports! She adored you and her grandkids and I am beyond sad for you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
