Loretta V. Atwell, 64
ADAMS, Mass. — Loretta V. Atwell, 64, of 4 Columbia St. died Wednesday evening, Sept. 11, 2002, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Adams on Jan. 4, 1938, daughter of Joseph and Thais Jones Lefebvre, she attended local schools, including the former Notre Dame School. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Atwell was a communicant of Notre Dame Church in Adams.
Her first husband, Leonard J. Boudreau, died April 13, 1981.
She leaves a son, Leonard J. Boudreau Jr. and his wife, Rose Mary, of Adams; two daughters, Jean Maynard of Clarksburg and Katherine Kelesa of Pittsfield; a brother, Jeffery Lefebvre of Adams; 11 sisters, Diane Oparowski of Palmer, Sandra Suriner of Dalton, Leona Sherman of Vermont, and Barbara Jzyk, Tina Radlowski, Rita Grande, Norma Morin, Patricia Edwards, Pamela Martischnig, Debra Varno and Melissa Lefebvre, all of Adams; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She also leaves her former husband, Roger Atwell of North Adams.
Three brothers are deceased, Joseph Lefebvre Jr., Kenneth Lefebvre and Gary Lefebvre.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Loretta V. Atwell will be Saturday, Sept. 14, at 9 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame Church, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.
