Rose A. Sudacki

Rose A. Sudacki, 88, of 8 Baskin Lane died Saturday evening at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on July 23, 1914, daughter of Joseph and Anna Kciuk Dobrowolski, she was a 1933 graduate of the former Adams High School. She was employed in the Tantalum division of the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams, retiring in 1976 after 31 years of service. Earlier, she had worked for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co. Mrs. Sudacki was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Polish Women's Club and the Adams Senior Citizens. Her husband, William Sudacki, whom she married May 3, 1947, died Jan. 9, 1968. She leaves a brother, Casimer Dobrowolski of Pittsfield. A daughter, Susan Sudacki, died in infancy in 1953. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Rose Sudacki will be Wednesday at 9:15 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church celebrated by the Rev. Eugene Suszek, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus' Church through the funeral home. She was predeceased by three brothers, Emil, Stanley and John Dobrowolski, and a sister, Helen Drobiak.
