MR. ROBERT JOHN CACCESE 51 of 112.5 Adams St. Bennington, Vt. died Sunday evening November 3, 2002 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington where he was admitted on Saturday Nov. 2nd. He was born in Staten Island, New York on August 30, 1951 a son of the late Carl A. Caccese and Helen (Moore) Caccese. He attended schools in Staten Island and graduated from the Egbert High School there. He also graduated from the Respiratory Therapy School at the Richmond Memorial Hospital in Staten Island, NY. Mr. Caccese was a registered respiratory therapist at eh Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, where he had been employed for the past seven years. He attended St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington. He enjoyed cooking and drawing. He also enjoyed swimming and spending time with his children. Survivors included his wife, the former Marcia L. Comai, whom he married on February 14, 2001 in Bennington VT Two daughters- Rachel M. Caccese and Kelly A. Caccese of State Island, NY One Son- Nicolas Caccese of Staten Island, NY Two Stepdaughters- Mackenzie F. Boyd of Readsboro, Vt and Corie A. Pike of Howland, Maine Three Grandchildren- Brittany Pike of Howland, Maine; Bryan Boyd and Bradley Boyd of Readsboro, Vt. Three brothers- Carl Caccese of Salem, NY; and twins- Nicolas Caccese of Charlotte, NC and David Caccese of Salem, NY One Sister- Susan Tobuck of St. Augustine, FLA His mother in law- Frances E. Sprague of Readsboro, VT Nieces and Nephews and his pet Golden Retriever-"Sam" Funeral Notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Robert John Caccese will be celebrated Wednesday morning Nov. 6, 2002 at 11:00 AM. At St. Francis de Sales Church in Bennington, Vt. by the Rev. Vincent J. Coppola, csc, Associate Pastor. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals West Chapels 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma will be Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Donations may be made to the Robert Caccese Children's Education in care of the funeral home. Survivors include is mother in law, Frances E. Sprague of Readsboro, Vt; three grandchildren Brittany Pike of Howland, Me; Bryan and Bradley Boyd of Readsboro, Vt. Also survived by his pet golden retreiever, "Sam".
