Perry Michael Comeau

Perry Michael Comeau, 48, of 103 Summer St. died late Thursday at North Adams Regional Hospital, where he was admitted earlier that day. Death followed a brief illness. Born in Cherry Point, N.C., on Dec. 7, 1954, son of Paul H. and Joan A. Dodge Comeau, he attended schools in Adams and graduated from Hoosac Valley Regional High School. Mr. Comeau was employed as a mechanic for several years at Village Truck Sales in Lanesboro. He also had been a mechanic for many years with his family's former business, Comeau and Sons Trucking. He was a member of the Maple Grove Civic Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. He leaves two brothers, Jay Comeau of Adams and William Comeau of North Adams; a sister, Karen Comeau Kennedy of Las Vegas, and his former wife, Kateri Rymarski of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE --The funeral for Perry M. Comeau will be conducted tomorrow, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m. at AUGÉ-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., by the Rev. Robert Moulton, permanent deacon of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas Aquinas. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home. He also leaves two nephews and a niece.
