Mildred B. Stewart

Mildred B. Stewart, 96, formerly of South Dennis, died yesterday at Fairview Commons. Born on June 3, 1906, in Pine Bush, N.Y., daughter of John F. and Mary Barnes Stewart, she attended local schools and received her registered nurse diploma from Cumberland Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1928. She worked as a private duty nurse for many years. She was a member of the Dennis Union Church in Dennis. She was also a member of the Dennis Historical Society and the Massachusetts Audubon Society. She also enjoyed photography and knitting. She leaves many cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services and burial for Mildred B. Stewart, who died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
