Gail Patricia Rosier

Gail Patricia Rosier, 59, of 69 Richardson St. died Thursday at Berkshire Medical Center after suffering a fall at home. Born in Adams on June 29, 1945, daughter of Walter G. and Catherine Donovan Estes, she attended elementary school in Cheshire and was a 1963 graduate of the former Adams High School. She completed cosmetology courses in Pittsfield. Mrs. Rosier was employed as a hairdresser at the House of Charm in Adams for 15 years. From 1987 to 1989, she owned and operated Gail's Market on Church Street. She retired in November 2000 from Nissen's Bakery, where she had been a clerk since 1989. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking trips to the casinos at Foxwoods and Atlantic City, and walking. She and her husband, Richard A Rosier, were married Dec. 5, 1970, at First Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, April L. Rose of Pittsfield; a sister, Lynn M. Bialas of Ladson, S.C.; a granddaughter, and three step-grandsons. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Gail Patricia Rosier, who died Thursday, June 23, 2005, will be Monday, June 27, at noon at First Baptist Church in Cheshire with the Rev. Linda Shaw, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel, assisting. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 2 to 5 at DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cheshire Fire Department in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire. Mrs. Rosier also leaves her son-in-law, Lanny Rose Sr.; her brother-in-law, Daniel Bialas; a granddaughter, Autumn C. Rose, and three step-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jonathan and Benjamin Rose.
