Harvey E. "Pat" Denault

Harvey E. "Pat" Denault, 69, of 47 Taft St. died Monday at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. Born in North Adams on March 16, 1936, son of Harvey and Mary Elliott Denault, he attended schools there and was a 1954 graduate of Drury High School. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was decorated with the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed for many years at the General Cable Co. in Williamstown. Mr. Denault was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church in North Adams. He was a former member of the Greylock Community Club and was a daily member of the Northern Berkshire YMCA. An avid sports fan, he also enjoyed riding his bike and playing horseshoes. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Harvey Edward "Pat" Denault will take place on Friday at 10:15 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home are tomorrow, Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Santa Fund through the funeral home. Survivors include three nieces, Marianne Alizio and her husband Mark Belanger of Cheshire, Antoinette Alizio and her husband Aaron Bieniek of Adams, and Janine Tatro and her husband William Tatro of North Adams; two grandnieces, Genevieve and Leah Tatro; an uncle, Frederick Rynkowski and his wife Joan of Adams; and a brother-in-law, Anthony Alizio of Williamstown. A sister, Dorothy Alizio died Dec. 5, 1971.
