Kathleen M. Mullen, 84, of 55 Lakeshore Drive died Wednesday morning at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. She moved to Cheshire in 1998. Born in North Adams on May 16, 1921, daughter of James P. Mullen Sr. and Margaret McGovern Mullen, she was a 1939 graduate of the former St. Joseph's High School there. She also graduated from the former Boston School of Radiology in 1941. Miss Mullen was employed as an X-ray technician for Dr. Richard Hamilton in New York City for more than 45 years, retiring in 1998. Before that, she worked as a technician in New Rochelle, N.Y., for several years. She moved to Cheshire after her retiring. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed reading. She leaves a sister, Christina Pringle of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Kathleen Mullen will be Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 10 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Mary's Church in Cheshire celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church through the funeral home. She also leaves a nephew, Mark R. Pringle of Cheshire, and a grandnephew, Ryan P. Pringle of Adams. A brother, James P. Mullen Jr., is deceased. She was very devoted to her Christian faith.
