Constance Ellen Robinson

Constance Ellen Robinson, 68, of 50 Stonehedge Road died yesterday morning at home. Born in Hudson Falls, N.Y., on Feb. 3, 1937, daughter of Wilbur F. and Jeannette Bullis Simpson, she was a 1954 graduate of Hudson Falls Central High School. She had lived in Cheshire for 50 years. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Adams. She was a prolific creator of arts and crafts, enjoyed sewing and was a member of a local quilting group. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles E. Robinson. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Robert Robinson of Greenville, N.Y., and Thomas Robinson of Effingham, N.H.; a daughter, Betty Iannitelli of Williamstown; a brother, Frederick Simpson of Hudson Falls; a sister, Dorothy Burch of Hudson Falls; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Constance Robinson will be Saturday, Aug. 20, at 11 in the First Congregational Church of Adams. The Rev. Michael Mullany, pastor, will officiate. Calling hours will be Friday from 1 to 4 at the AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires through the funeral home. She also leaves her daughters-in-law, Shirley Robinson of Greenville and Olivia Morrissette of Effingham; son-in-law, Robert Iannitelli; six grandchildren, Mitchell Perry and Gina Iannitelli, both of Williamstown, Richard Pierce and Joe Robinson, both of Pittsfield, Jamin Robinson of Maine and Jessica Markham of Utah, and a great-grandson, Matthew Pierce of Pittsfield.
