Carlos Fidel Seminario, 57, of 53 Westminster St. died Monday evening at Berkshire Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Lima, Peru, on April 24, 1948, son of Jose and Alicia Falero Seminario, he was educated there. He also attended Federico Villareal University in Lima. He emigrated from Lima to the United States four years ago, settling in Pittsfield. At the time of his death, Mr. Seminario was employed in the laundry department at Patriot Suites Hotel in Lenox. While in Lima, he served as a police officer for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He and his wife, the former Ruth E. Figueroa, were married April 30, 1973. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Carlos J. Seminario of Pittsfield; a daughter, Diana C. Seminario of Pittsfield; a brother, Jose Seminario of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Bertha Gallo of Lima, and a grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Carlos Fidel Seminario, who died Monday, Sept. 5, also leaves his daughter-in-law, Sofia Seminario, and his grandson, Luis Carlo Seminario, both of Lima, Peru. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., is in charge of arrangements.
