Sharon R. Brophy-Forst, 38, of New Ashford died Thursday evening at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield from complications during the birth of her daughter, Olivia Ruth Brophy-Forst. Mrs. Brophy-Forst was co-host of the "Morning Show" at WBEC-FM in Pittsfield. Born in Lowell on March 22, 1967, daughter of Patricia Fitzgerald Brophy and the late Kenneth P. Brophy, she was a 1985 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro and earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication from Castleton (Vt.) College in 1989. Following graduation, Mrs. Brophy-Forst began her broadcasting career in Rutland, Vt. She then worked in Claremont, N.H., and in the Cortland, Ithaca and Syracuse, N.Y., areas. She also worked at WHMP-FM in Northampton and in Dover, Del., and Atlantic City, N.J. She was married to Kyle D. Forst. Besides her husband, daughter and mother, of Lowell, she leaves a brother, Mark D. Brophy of Bartlett, N.H. BROPHY-FORST -- In Springfield, Sept. 15, 2005, at Baystate Medical Center, Sharon R. Brophy-Forst, 38, of New Ashford. Wife of Kyle D. Forst. Friends may call tomorrow, Sept. 20, from 3 to 8 at O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 Pawtucket St. at Fletcher. Her funeral will take place Wednesday at 9 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
