Ida Julia Glowacki, 91, of 75 Commercial St., died Thursday at home. Born in Adams on March 9, 1914, daughter of Peter J. and Stacia C. Kwasnicki Glowacki, she attended schools there, including the former C.T. Plunkett Junior High School. Mrs. Glowacki was employed by the former W.B. Plunkett Hospital in the housekeeping department, retiring in 1970. Before this, she worked at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Co., where she was a dorfer in the No. 2 mill. Her closest survivors are a niece, Linda Bednarz, and a nephew, Mathew P. Juras, both of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Prayer Service in the Roman Catholic tradition is scheduled for Monday at 1 p.m. in the MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME. The service will be followed by interment in the Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours for the family only will be from 11:30 to 1 at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations to The Louison House, 395 Old Columbia St., Adams, MA 01220 or through the funeral home, 6 Liberty St., Adams. She was predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Freda Juras, who passed in August 1996.
