Nellie L. Pultorak

Nellie L. Pultorak, 84, of 11 Fairview Road, Housatonic, died Sunday at Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Great Barrington on Dec. 16, 1920, daughter of Louis and Louise Molong Storti, she attended the former Searles High School. Mrs. Pultorak worked at the former Monument Mills in Housatonic during the late 1940s and early 1950s. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church. Her husband, Walter "Buck" Pultorak, whom she married Nov. 22, 1941, died May 5, 2004. She leaves a son, Michael Pultorak of Housatonic; a daughter, Audrey LaPinsky of Sanford, Fla.; two brothers, Leon Storti and Ernest Storti, both of Great Barrington; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The family plans a private service and requests that, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Nellie's memory be made to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, in care of BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230, which is in charge of arrangements. Nellie Pultorak also leaves her son's longtime companion, Linda; a son-in-law, Gary LaPinsky; six grandchildren, Chris and Anthony Pultorak, Kyle LaPinsky, Jenifer Kanbara, and Jason and Todd LaPera, and three great-grandchildren, Cori LaPinsky, and Sara and Ian Kanbara.
