Lillian Wright, 88, formerly of New Marlborough Road died Sunday at West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, Fla. She was a resident of Century Village West in Boca Raton. Born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., on May 12, 1917, daughter of Nathan and Anna Ginsberg Beder, she graduated from Mount Vernon High School. Mrs. Wright worked for various government agencies for over 25 years. She retired as a supervisor with the Veteran's Administration. She also worked for the Social Security Administration. She and her husband, Michael Wright, moved to Monterey in the mid-1980s. She moved to Florida following the death of her husband on Dec. 18, 2001. She enjoyed playing mah-jong. She leaves a son, Dennis Wright of Hackensack, N.J.; two daughters, Meredith Wright of Hackensack and Beryl Hobert of Dumont, N.J., and one grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Lillian Wright, formerly of Monterey, will be conducted Friday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m. by Rabbi Andrew Klein of Hevreh of South Berkshire. FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
