Carlen J. Robinson

Carlen J. Robinson, 32, of 64 Francis St. died Friday at home. Born in Adams on Aug. 9, 1973, daughter of John F. and Lorraine Pyra Robinson, she was a 1991 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School and received an associate degree in social work from Berkshire Community College and a bachelor's degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Miss Robinson was a clinical technician for the disabled with the mental health division of the Brien Center in Pittsfield. Before that, she was a paraprofessional at Brayton School. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and enjoyed crafts. Besides her father, of Saratoga, N.Y., and her mother, of Adams, she leaves five brothers, William N. Robinson Jr. of Adams, Corey Robinson of Easthampton, Casey Robinson of Austin, Texas, and Brooks Robinson and Alexander Robinson, both of Saratoga, and a sister, Kristin Gordon of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church for the life of Carlen J. Robinson, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to the Carlen Robinson Educational Scholarship Fund through McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Liberty St., Adams, MA 01220, which is in charge of arrangements. She was a loving aunt and sibling in her family circle. She also leaves three sisters-in-law, Lynne, Allison and Veronica Robinson; a brother-in-law, Brad Gordon; nieces Samantha, McKenzie, Riley, Sydney, Rachel and Christina Robinson; nephews Zach and Aaron Gordon, and Alexander and Dylan Robinson, and special friends Chad Walker and his parents, and Al Romano.
