John Alan Innes

John Alan Innes, 61, of Tampa, Fla., died Friday after a long illness. Born in Andover on Aug. 26, 1944, son of John F. and Marion Welding Inness, he attended schools in Adams. He moved to Tampa in 1984. While in Florida, Mr. Inness was employed as a surveyor with the Hamilton Engineering and Surveying Inc. until his illness. While in Adams, he worked for many years at the former Arnold Print Works. He was a member of the Tampa Episcopal Church and the Innes Clan Society. While in Adams, he was a member of First Congregational Church. He leaves his wife, the former Annetta Lazon; two sons, Todd Innes and Brent Innes, both of Ocala, Fla.; a daughter, Heather Innes of Ocala; a brother Michael Inness of Lenox Dale, and two sisters, Sandy Bigelow of Long Island, N.Y., and Cheryl Adelt of Adams, and six grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside Service for John Alan Inness will take place Friday, Nov., 18, 2005 at Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. There will be no calling hours. The TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
