Joseph F. Cyrulik

Joseph F. Cyrulik, 90, of 22 Meadow St., died yesterday at North Adams Commons. Born in Adams on February 2, 1915, son of Simon and Katherine Walczak Cyrulik, he attended schools in Adams and moved to Poland in 1930. He returned to Adams in 1936. Mr. Cyrulik worked as a finish tender at the former Arnold Printworks in Adams for 30 years, until retiring in 1970. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, and member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Society. He and his wife, the former Monica E. Kruzel, celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on Oct. 15. Besides his wife, he leaves four sons, Francis Cyrulik, Chester Cyrulik and William Cyrulik, all of Adams, and Richard Cyrulik of Savoy; a daughter, Esther Schmidt of Adams; two sisters, Blanche Nalepa and Mary Kozik, both of Poland, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Joseph F. Cyrulik, who died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, will be Tuesday at 9 at AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS Funeral Home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, through the funeral home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, MA 01220.
