Marjorie June "June" Bergeron

Marjorie June "June" Bergeron, 81, of 20 Hermon Ave. died early Monday morning at the Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown. Born in North Adams on June 1, 1924, daughter of John F. and Elizabeth M. Brackley Fee, she was a 1941 graduate of the former St. Joseph's High School. Mrs. Bergeron was last employed with the West Package Store for a few years. Before that, she worked at North Adams Regional Hospital for 15 years. In her younger years, she worked at the former Brackley's News Stand and the former Fischlein's Market. She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church. She was a member of the Frank R. Stiles Post 125 American Legion. She enjoyed playing bingo. Her husband, Raymond Gerald Bergeron, whom she married Sept. 1, 1952, died Jan. 29, 1987. She leaves two daughters, Patricia A. Sprague of North Adams and Marie Rogers of Manchester, N.H.; two sons, John F. Bergeron of Stamford, Vt., and James P. Bergeron of North Adams, with whom she made her home, and three sisters, Catherine Tomlinson of Weston, Fla., Veronica Whittle of Barrington, R.I., and Claire Weber of Hastings, Minn. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Marjorie Bergeron will be Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005 at 9:15 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to North Adams Ambulance Service through the funeral home. Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Whitney.
