Charles Michael Weslowski

Charles Michael Weslowski, 89, of Balance Rock Road died Friday morning at home. Born in Adams on Feb. 18, 1916, son of John and Anna Wlodasz Weslowski, he attended school in Cheshire. A dairy farmer by profession, Mr. Weslowski owned and operated his own farm. He had also worked as foreman of milk processing for the former Model Dairy Farm in Dalton. Later, he worked for GE as a chemical mold technician in the plastics division and the power transformer department, retiring with 12 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, small-engine repair and carpentry. He and his wife, the former Virginia C. Maxwell, celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary Oct. 19. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Ronald C. Weslowski of Savoy, and a granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Charles Michael Weslowski will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. William D. Furey, Pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel, officiating. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Weslowski may be made to the Lanesborough Fire Department in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield. He leaves his granddaughter, Debra Bigwood.
