David Jasewicz

David Jasewicz, 48, of 10 Evergreen Road, Leeds, died of natural causes at 600 Main St. in Dalton. He was the father of Morgan E. Jasewicz of Pittsfield. Born in Boston on July 19, 1957, son of Albert and Lillian Porter Jasewicz, he was a 1975 graduate of Little Falls High School and attended Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y. A Navy veteran, he served four years aboard the USS Pargo as an electronics technician. Mr. Jasewicz was employed by Kollmorgen Corp. in Northampton for 24 years. His job involved traveling around the world installing and repairing periscope systems. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling, and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He and his wife, the former Cheryl L. Brodeur, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary Oct. 23. Besides his wife, daughter and parents, of Little Falls, N.Y., he leaves two stepdaughters, Beth-Ann Palmer and Katie Palmer, both of Windsor; two brothers, Kevin Jasewicz of Ilion, N.Y., and A.J. Jasewicz of Oswego, N.Y.; five sisters, Patricia Talaba of Mohawk, N.Y., Linda Bennett of Scotia, N.Y., Sharon Mumford of Dolgeville, N.Y., and Brenda LaPone and Laurie Tinkler, both of Little Falls. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for David Jasewicz, who died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, will be conducted Friday at 1 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Les O'Dell, pastor of New Life Fellowship Church of Springfield. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
