Domenica Spadaccini, 85, of Maple Street, Housatonic, died Monday at Fairview Hospital. Born in Great Barrington on March 20, 1920, daughter of G.A. and Celistina Borgnis Pellegrini, she was a 1937 graduate of the former Searles High School. She also graduated from the former Berkshire Business School in Pittsfield. Mrs. Spadaccini was a homemaker, She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Housatonicand a member of its Rosary Solidarity Society, and a Girl Scout leader with the Berkshire Hills Girl Scout Council. She and her husband, Natale "Ned" Spadaccini, were married in 1942 at St. Peter's Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Joan E. Holmes of Brentwood, Tenn.; a son, Peter J. Spadaccini of Housatonic; a sister, Catherine Oggiani of Vista, Calif.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Domenica Spadaccini, who died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, will be Friday at 9 at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, with a Mass celebrated at 10 at Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Corpus Christi Renovation Fund in care of the funeral home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. She also leaves three granddaughters, Jacqueline Bolanowski of Virginia Beach, Va., Marie Baker of Pascoag, R.I., and Amanda Spadaccini of Brooklyn, N.Y., and three great-grandchildren, Caelan, Hope and Lauren.
