Mary Zucco

Mary Zucco, 90, of Fairview Terrace died yesterday at Fairview Commons. Born in Great Barrington on June 7, 1915, daughter of Morris and Mary Viea Spadaccini, she attended schools in East Canaan, Conn., including school No. 5. Mrs. Zucco was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church and a member of the former Daughters of Isabella and the Thursday Morning Club. She enjoyed working in her gardens. She and her husband, Angelo Zucco, were married in Canaan, Conn., in 1941. He died in February 2004. She leaves a son, Richard Zucco of Great Barrington; a brother, Bruno Spadaccini of Canaan, Conn.; a sister, Erma Malnati of Albuquerque, N.M., and two grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mary Spadaccini Zucco of Great Barrington will be held Monday, Dec. 19, at 10 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Those who desire may make contributions in Mrs. Zucco's memory to the Disabled American Veterans through the funeral home, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Patricia Zucco of Great Barrington; two grandchildren, Victor Zucco and Tricia Zucco, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
