Lynn Elizabeth Morris

Lynn Elizabeth Morris, 74, of 70 Mohawk Forest Blvd. died Saturday at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she was admitted Friday. She was co-owner of the Golden Eagle Gift Shop and Restaurant on the Mohawk Trail from 1980 to 2001. Born in Worcester on Oct. 23, 1931, daughter of William J. and Margaret Hicks Champagny, she attended schools there and Drury High School. Mrs. Morris operated the shop with her husband, John Alexander Morris, who died March 26, 2001. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She and her husband were married May 31, 1949. She leaves two daughters, Kathryn L. Gagne of North Adams and Elizabeth L. Pugliese of Clarksburg; two sons, John T. Morris of Clarksburg and James A. Morris of North Adams; a brother, Thomas Champagny of North Adams; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lynn Morris, who died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, will be Wednesday at 9:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapel, followed by services at 10 at St. John's Episcopal Church conducted by the Rev. Edward King, rector. Burial will be in the spring in Clarksburg Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 5 to 7. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Capital Campaign in care of the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. She also leaves two grandchildren, Michael Gagne of Monrovia, Md., and Alicia Daniels of the town of Florida, and five great-grandchildren, Meghan, Kristen and Alison Gagne, and Samantha and Millard John Daniels.
