Mark A. Silvernail, 45, of 158 East Main St., Ashley Falls, died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Winsted, Conn., on Dec. 1, 1960, son of the late Clifford and Maxine Murphy Silvernail, he attended North Canaan (Conn.) Elementary School and Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, Conn. A mechanic, Mr. Silvernail was last employed by Berkshire GMC in Great Barrington. He enjoyed camping and snowmobiling. He also was a DJ and appreciated all types of music. He and his wife, the former Christine Carlson, were married June 5, 1982. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Anthony M. Silvernail and David R. Silvernail, both of Ashley Falls; a daughter, Sara M. Silvernail of Ashley Falls, and five sisters, Carol F. Silvernail of Torrington, Conn., Donna L. Bierce of Ashley Falls, Debbie A. Larch of Lovington, Ill., Linda M. Silvernail of Canaan and Barbara J. Silvernail of North Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mark A. Silvernail, who died Jan. 14, 2006, will be Friday at 11 at North Canaan Congregational Church in East Canaan, Conn. Burial will follow in Carlson Cemetery, Moses Meade Road, Canaan Valley, Conn. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 at NEWKIRK-PALMER FUNERAL HOME.
