Robin W. Anderson

Robin W. Anderson, 56, of 185 Mallery Road died Tuesday at the Berkshire Medical Center after being stricken at his home. Born in Pittsfield on April 17, 1949, son of Emily Brookman Anderson and the late Nelson Wilbur Anderson, he attended schools in Williamstown, including the Little Red School House, and graduated from Mount Greylock Regional High School with the class of 1968. He later graduated from the New England Tractor Trailer School. He was employed as a tractor trailer driver and truck driver, and at the time of his death he was employed for the Sure Winner Foods Co. He loved riding his four-wheeler ATV with his two sons. He also loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and archery. He leaves his wife of 17 years, Susan Cummings Anderson, whom he married Oct. 3, 1988, in Williamstown. Besides his mother of New Ashford, he leaves two sons, Bryan Anderson and Donald Anderson, both of New Ashford; three sisters, Nelle Moody and Kristen Anderson, both of Williamstown, and Holly Ware of Georgetown, Ky., and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Robin W. Anderson, who died Jan. 17, 2006, will take place Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. at the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel in Williamstown with the Rev. Penny Rich Smith, pastor of the Second Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the Robin W. Anderson Children's Education Fund through the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247. He also leaves three sons-in-law, Larry Moody, Kenny Ware and John Guiden. His main focus in life was his family and spending time with his two sons, who were his pride and joy.
