Josephine V. Waryjasz

Josephine V. Waryjasz, 89, formerly of Myrtle Street Apartments and a resident of Williamstown Commons for the past year, died Saturday evening at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Charlemont on Dec. 5, 1916, daughter of Justino and Mary Angeli Pedrin, she attended school there and in North Adams, where she moved as a child. She moved to Adams in 1966. Mrs. Waryjasz worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. and at the former Adams Rest Home, retiring in 1979. She was a member of First Congregational Church. Her husband, Edward Waryjasz, whom she married Aug. 2, 1941, died Dec. 26, 1965. She leaves two daughters, Mary Ann Misiuk of Lake Forest, Calif., and Donna Witherell of Clarksburg; two sons, Edward C. Waryjasz of Adams and Robert Waryjasz of Plainfield; 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Josephine V. Waryjasz will be Wednesday at 10 from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Jim Misiuk of Calvary Chapel of Lake Forest, Calif., officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 4 to 8. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association through the funeral home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220. She leaves her sons-in-law Jim Misiuk and Bob Witherell; daughters-in-law Terry and Doreen Waryjasz, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Julio, Victor and Charles Pedrin. Mrs. Waryjasz was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was very devoted to the Lord.
