Antoinette Marie "Nini" Sacco

Antoinette Marie "Nini" Sacco, 92, formerly of St. Joseph's Court, Apartment D-8, 85 Eagle St., died Sunday at Sweet Brook Care Centers, 1561 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown. Born in North Adams on Dec. 23, 1913, daughter of Joseph and Rosaria Colluccia Sacco, she was 1932 graduate of Drury High School. Miss Sacco was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for 44 years, first in the production department, where she rose to supervisor and group leader, and then in the engineering research department. At the time of her retirement in 1976, she was a master technician. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a member of the Sprague Electric Quarter Century and Retirees'clubs. She leaves nieces and nephews, including Anthony and Phyllis Sacco of West Springfield, who were her caregivers. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Antoinette Sacco, who died Feb. 19, 2006, will be Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at 10:30 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be Thursday, Feb. 23, from 9:30 until the time of the funeral. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Birkland and Celia Palumbo, and by four brothers, Anthony N. Sacco, Salvatore "Sam" Sacco, Russell Sacco and Nicholas Sacco, who died July 17, 1956, as the result of wounds received in World War II.
