Colleen M. Peterson Smead, 75, of 193 Elberon Ave., died Saturday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since January 2006. Born in New York state on May 5, 1930, daughter of Claude and Julia Desell Peterson, she attended schools in New York. Mrs. Smead was a homemaker. She leaves a son and a daughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Colleen M. Peterson Smead, who died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, will take place Thursday, March 2, at 1:30 p.m. in Pittsfield Cemetery, with the Rev. Suzanne Zacher, pastor of Morningside Baptist Church, officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St.
